BigPanda Raises $50M in Series C Funding

bigpandaBigPanda Inc., a Mountain View, CA-based provider of a platform for enterprises to drive automation for IT Ops, NOC, and DevOps teams, raised $50m in Series C funding round.

The round, which brings total funding to more than $120m, was led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors Sequoia, Battery Ventures, and Mayfield.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its platform and market presence.

Founded in 2012 by Assaf Resnick, CEO, BigPanda provides a platform for IT Ops, NOC and DevOps teams to detect, investigate, and resolve IT incidents and outages. Powered by Open Box Machine Learning, BigPanda captures alerts, changes and topology data from all disparate tools and uses machine learning to reduce IT noise, detect incidents and outages, and surface their probable root cause, in real time. Customers include Intel, TiVO, Warner Media and Workday, among others.
