Sverica Capital Management, a growth-oriented lower middle market private equity firm, held the first and final close of its fifth private equity fund, at $450M.
Sverica Capital Partners V will continue the firm’s strategy of investing in companies that are, or have the potential to be, category leaders within their respective industries.
Fund V will target businesses with enterprise values of up to $150 million with strong growth characteristics and differentiated solutions or products.
Led by Managing Partners Dave Finley, Frank Young and Jordan Richards, the firm will also remain focused on businesses within the technology, business services, healthcare and high-value industrial sectors.
Sverica has raised over $1.1 billion across five funds and invested in 34 portfolio companies since inception.
The firm is based in Boston and San Francisco.
