SmartRent, a Scottsdale, AZ-based provider of smart home automation for property managers and renters, received a strategic investment from the Amazon Alexa Fund in an extension of Series B funding.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The funding will allow the company to work with teams across Amazon and Ring, and to develop software and hardware that turns multifamily housing environments into connected communities.
Founded in 2017, SmartRent is a smart home automation platform company for property managers and renters. Its solution is designed to provide property managers with seamless visibility and control over all their assets while delivering additional revenue opportunities through all-in-one home control offerings for residents.
