PlatformE Raises $12M in Funding

platformePlatformE, a London, UK-based retail startup focused on fashion, raised $12m in funding.

The backers were not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of the technology across across fashion, footwear, accessories industries.

Founded in 2015 and led by Ben Demiri, CEO, PlatformE provides a made-to-order (MTO) production solution to enable consumers to shop customizable products (in-store or online) from the likes of Gucci, Dior, Fendi, Emilio Pucci, creating 1 billion customisation combinations. The system powers everything from sampling and concepts to e-commerce integration and production, adapting to specific brands’ existing ecommerce systems, including product customisation, manufacturing and delivery.
The company, which is working with more than 25 major brands worldwide, has operational offices in Porto.
