NS1 Raises $33M in Series C Funding

ns1NS1, a NYC-based provider of DNS and application traffic management solutions, raised a $33m Series C venture capital funding round.

The round was led by Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from Cisco Investments and existing investors Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, Entrée Capital, Flybridge Capital Partners, GGV Capital, Mango Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Sigma Prime Ventures, Telstra Ventures, and Two Sigma Ventures. As part of this funding, Tyler Jewell, managing director at Dell Technologies Capital, will join NS1’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its penetration into edge computing, service delivery, and IoT, and scale market activities to meet global demand.

Led by Kris Beevers, co-founder and CEO, NS1 provides solutions for application delivery and traffic control that is critical for revenue, business operations, automation, and the best user experiences to highly trafficked internet and enterprise applications. Its platform, built on a modern API-first architecture that acts on real-time data and grows in complex environments, enables DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) to become an intelligent, efficient, and automated system.
NS1 has more than 450 major customers worldwide including LinkedIn, Dropbox, Pitney Bowes, Bleacher Report and The Guardian, a top 5 US airline, a top 10 US automotive company, a top 10 global gaming company, and a top online payment provider.
