LoudCrowd, Inc., an Austin, TX-based SaaS marketing platform that enables brands to leverage word-of-mouth marketing at scale, closed a $515k pre-seed round of funding.
The round was led by Active Capital, with participation from local angel investors.
The company will use the capital to hire additional engineers and designers to ramp up growth.
Founded in March 2019 by Justin Papermaster and Gary Garofalo, LoudCrowd provides a cloud based platform that allows brands to scale word-of-mouth marketing by turning their existing customers into vocal brand supporters. With the platform, brands can create incentives for customers to create content, connect with customers on an individualized basis, and measure the value of customers’ user generated content.
