Ekos Secures $8M in Series A Funding

ekosEkos, a Charlotte, N.C.-based provider of business management software for independent craft beverage companies, secured an $8m Series A funding round.

The round was led by Noro-Moseley Partners. Alan Taetle, General Partner, and John Ale, Principal, from Noro-Moseley Partners will join the Ekos board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to enhance product features and build integrations with solutions for the craft food and beverage industry and to hire at least 40 new team members by the end of 2020.

Founded in 2014 and led by Josh McKinney, CEO, Ekos provides a business management software solution for independent craft food and beverage companies. The company partners with over 1,700 craft producers in 40 countries to manage their day-to-day operations in inventory, production, sales, and accounting. The company’s cloud-based solutions include Ekos Brewmaster, an all-in-one brewery management solution; Ekos Cidermaker, custom software for cidery management; Ekos Winemaker, an integrated winery management solution; and Ekos Maker, a comprehensive software solution for craft makers of all kinds.
