Morf3D Raises Funding from Boeing

Morf3D Inc., an El Segundo, CA-based metals additive manufacturing leader specializing in precision manufacturing and engineering for the aerospace industry, secured a new round of funding from Boeing HorizonX Ventures.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its manufacturing presence and capacity growth.

Established in 2015 by CEO Ivan J. Madera, Morf3D specializes in additive engineering and manufacturing with metals, and provides advisory services in additive manufacturing strategy and technology adoption road-mapping.
The company has enabled several clients to develop, qualify and manufacture highly complex structures for flight. The company has become a leader in the aerospace additive manufacturing industry, serving the world’s largest aerospace OEMs including Boeing, Honeywell, Collins Aerospace and numerous others.
