Linq Closes Series A Funding

linqLinq, an Oakland, CA-based provider of a construction data and document search tool, completed a Series A funding of undisclosed amount.

Stanley Black & Decker made the investment as an extension to the seed funding invested last year.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to accelerate their user-centric design approach to launch LINQ this fall, and then scale the team and product to support future growth.

Founded in 2018 by Jake Olsen, CEO, Linq is a data and documentation tool that gives users in the construction sectors the power to instantly retrieve the most relevant and current information including shop drawings, submittals, specifications, plans, safety manuals, RFIs and more.
The solution has been used by trade contractors on dozens of projects over the last few months during beta testing.
