Ironclad

Ironclad, a San Francisco, CA-based digital contracting platform for legal teams, closed a $50m Series C funding round.

The round was led by Y Combinator Continuity with participation from Emergence Capital and returning investors Accel and Sequoia Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand into new geographies and double down on contracting solutions for its community of General Counsels, legal operations and their teams.

Led by Jason Boehmig, co-founder and CEO, Ironclad is a digital contracting platform for legal teams, which streamlines contract workflows, from creation and approvals to compliance and insights. It is used by modern General Counsels and their teams at companies like Dropbox, AppDynamics and Fitbit.
The company also announced the launch of Workflow Designer, a contracting solution that lets customers bake complex business processes into their contracts, without relying on outside or engineering help.
