GiGstreem, a Tysons, Va.-based internet service provider specializing in residential and commercial internet, raised $10M in Series B funding.
The round was led by RET Ventures, with participation from LNC Partners.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate research and development efforts and to fund new market expansion.
Led by Joel McIntyre, CEO, GiGstreem delivers fiber and micro/fiber hybrid internet service options to homes and businesses. Its national network serves businesses and residences in hundreds of communities in Maryland, Virginia, DC, New York and Florida, serving up bandwidths of 100 Mbps to 10 Gigabit and beyond.
The company’s solutions are used by several brands including Buzzfeed, Microsoft, Nike, Samsung, Yahoo and more.
