Embr Labs Raises $6M In Series B Financing

embrEmbr Labs, a Cambridge, MA-based thermal technology company, raised $6M in Series B funding.

The round was led by DigiTx Partners, with participation from Safar Partners, Joyance Partners, Bose Ventures, and PBJ Capital.

The company will use the funds to grow the its presence in wellness and digital therapeutics, accelerate development for the next generation of its core technology platform, and validate new use cases in thermal wellness.

Founded by three engineers in a cold lab at MIT, and led by Elizabeth Gazda, CEO, Embr Labs offers the Wave bracelet, which features its innovation, its patented thermal waveforms – dynamic temperature sensations that cool or warm temperature-sensitive nerves with algorithmically-designed waves.
Since the launch of the Wave bracelet in September 2017, the company has sold tens of thousands of devices to those who desired to harness the restorative power of temperature.
