Elementus, a New York-based blockchain analytics platform provider, raised $3.5M in seed funding.
The round was led by Morgan Creek Digital with participation from Avon Ventures, Stage 1 Ventures, Robot Ventures, and angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to extend its capabilities, growing its team with data scientists.
Co-founded by Max Galka, Mike Kalomeni, and Nuria Gutierrez, Elementus provides a blockchain powered analytics platform for institutional asset managers, financial service organizations, and government agencies. The platform supports Bitcoin and Ethereum (including stablecoins).
In addition to the funding:
– Charles V. Senatore, Senior Advisor at Devonshire Investors, who formerly led global compliance functions for Fidelity Investments and Merrill Lynch, is joining the company’s board of advisors;
– Anthony Pompliano, co-founder and partner at Morgan Creek Digital, is joining the company’s Board of Directors at Elementus.
