Pavilion Data Systems Raises $25M in Series C Funding

Pavilion Data Systems, a San Jose, Calif.-based developer of storage technologies, raised $25m in Series C funding.

Backers included new investors Taiwania Capital and RPS Ventures and existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Korea Investment Partners, DAG Ventures, Artiman Ventures, SK Telecom, and Tyche Partners.

The company, which has raised $58m in total funding, intends to use the funds to accelerate the delivery of its NVMe-oF products, expand to new markets, and grow the team.

Led by Gurpreet Singh, CEO, Pavilion Data Systems has developed NVMe-over-Fabrics (NVMe-oF) storage tech platform that ingests, processes, stores and serves data for Internet and SaaS companies, cloud service providers and enterprises to deliver business-critical applications at the speed of direct-attached storage, with the reliability, manageability, and data management services of shared storage.
