JRNI Closes $6M in Series C Extension Funding

jrniJRNI, formerly known as BookingBug, a London, UK-based customer engagement platform for omnichannel conversion, closed a $6m extension to its Series C financing.

The round, which brings total funding to $23.2m, was led by PeakSpan Capital with participation from Downing Ventures and Somerston Group.

The company intends to use the funds to advance its growth as it expands its market leadership in Europe and deepens its sales, marketing, development, and customer success initiatives in the U.S.

Led by CEO John Federman and newly named CTO Simon Copsey, JRNI provides a customer engagement platform – via its Appointments, Events, Queuing, Call Center, and Insights applications – that enables companies to interact with customers, online to offline, delivering a single brand experience to consumers.
Companies like U.S. Bank, ANZ, John Lewis & Partners, and LEGO use the company’s AI-driven scheduling engine to deliver predictive actions across different touchpoints – appointments, events, concierge, queuing – and optimize resources to deliver improved quality of the experience.
In May, JRNI opened an office in Manchester, N.H., that headquarters its U.S. development operations.
