Acorn Growth Companies, a private equity firm focused exclusively on aerospace, defense and intelligence, made a controlling investment in Robbins-Gioia, an Alexandria, Virginia-based provider of systems modernization and enterprise solutions focused on enhancing capabilities and improving performance and readiness for the federal government and industry.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
