Fetch Robotics Raises $46M in Series Funding

fetch roboticsFetch Robotics, a San Jose, Calif.-based the pioneer of on-demand automation, raised $46M in Series C funding.

The round was led by Fort Ross Ventures, with participation from CEAS Investments, Redwood Technologies, TransLink Capital and Zebra Ventures and existing investors O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, Shasta Ventures, Softbank Capital and Sway Ventures.

The company, which now has raised $94m to date, intends to use the funds for international expansion and for ongoing research and development.

Led by Melonee Wise, CEO, Fetch Robotics is an intralogistics automation company combining mobile robotics with the cloud. The Fetch Cloud Robotics Platform provides on-demand automation solutions for material handling and inventory management, and tools to find, track, and move almost anything in any facility. The company’s solutions and services are deployed in distribution, fulfillment, and manufacturing centers around the world, augmenting workforces to drive increased efficiency and productivity.

Customers include global companies in third-party logistics (3PL), manufacturing, and distribution.
