Edmentum, a Minneapolis-based global education curriculum and services provider and leader in online teaching and learning, acquired Calvert Education Services, a provider of learning solutions and virtual K-8 academy.

Led by Steve Gross, chief executive officer, Calvert provides virtual and blended learning solutions that build creative problem solving and other lifelong skills for elementary students. They have full access to digital resources, step-by-step lesson plans, assessments, progress tracking tools, and more.
So far, the company has served more than 600,000 students in all 50 states and in more than 90 countries around the world.
Led by Jamie Candee, chief executive officer, Edmentum provides EdOptions Academy, a fully accredited K-12 online school that offers curriculum, certified teachers, and accredited high school diplomas to schools and students who need flexible learning options.
Edmentum solutions currently support educators and students in more than 40,000 schools nationwide.
