Confluera Raises $9M in Series A Funding

Confluera Inc., a Palo Alto, CA-based real-time cybersecurity company, raised $9m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners’ Founder & Managing Partner Ravi Mhatre with participation from:
– John W. Thompson, former CEO of Symantec and Chairman of Microsoft;
– Frank Slootman, former CEO of ServiceNow; and
– Lane Bess, former CEO of Palo Alto Networks.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and bring the cybersecurity product to market.

Co-Founded by Abhijit Ghosh, Niloy Mukherjee, and Bipul Sinha, Confluera provides a platform introducing real-time interception and response capabilities to deal with modern cyberattacks deterministically identifying and stopping ongoing complex, multi-stage attacks.
