Atlan, a Singapore and India-based provider of a platform for data teams to manage their daily workflows, raised $2.5m in pre-Series A funding.
The round was led by Waterbridge Ventures, with participation from Ratan Tata, Rajan Anandan and 500 Startups.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Atlan provides a SaaS based platform for teams to collaborate on internal and external data projects while automating repetitive tasks.
The company’s solution is used by 200 teams in 50 countries — ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies – including Unilever, Milkbasket, Barbeque Nation, WPP and GroupM, Mahindra Group, and InMobi.
The company was accelerated within Google Launchpad (class of 2018) and Unreasonable Future (class of 2019).
