Vulcan Cyber, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based cybersecurity startup, raised $10m in Series A funding.
Backers included Ten Eleven Ventures, YL Ventures and Glenn Chisholm, former CTO of Cylance and co-founder and CEO of Obsidian Security. In conjunction with the funding, Ten Eleven Ventures General Partner Mark Hatfield joined the Vulcan board.
The company, which has raised a total of $14m since exiting stealth a year ago, will use the funds to expand commercial operations in North America and grow development and support capabilities.
Led by Yaniv Bar-Dayan, CEO and co-founder, Vulcan Cyber provides a continuous vulnerability remediation solution which integrates, automates and orchestrates existing tools and processes.
It includes the Vulcan Cyber Platform, which controls and orchestrates Security, DevOps, and IT tasks and tools, allowing enterprises to automate and scale their vulnerability remediation processes, and the Vulcan Cyber’s Contextual Prioritization Engine, which ranks vulnerabilities based on true and unique risk to the enterprise by correlating asset technical attributes and configurations, security assessment results and threat intelligence.
