LLR Partners, a middle market private equity firm in Philadelphia, recapitalized CareATC, Inc., a Tulsa, OK-based technology-driven employee population health management company.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded by Ron Woods in 2000 and led by CEO Philip Kurtz, CareATC is a premier employer-sponsored clinic network used by corporations, labor unions and state and local governments across the U.S. to receive primary care, preventative health screenings, disease management, referral management and wellness for their employees.
The company’s proprietary technology platform also delivers analytics to improve clinical decision-making, drive more engaging patient experiences, and give employers insights into the overall health and wellness of their employee populations.
CareATC manages more than 150 clients in 35 states and cares for more than 250,000 patients.
It was previously backed by Omega Capital and the Oklahoma Life Science Fund (in 2014).
