Flexera, an Itasca, Ill.-based provider of software that allows organizations to accelerate their business via technology, acquired RISC Networks, an Asheville, North Carolina-based SaaS analytics platform for companies to speed their migration to the cloud.
RISC Networks’ innovative platform will extend Flexera’s ability to deliver IT insights and spend optimization.

RISC Networks’ primary products – Foundation and CloudScape – allow companies like CapGemini, IBM, Turner Broadcasting, Viacom and Eastman Chemical to move from on-premise to the cloud by:
– discovering all of a company’s IT infrastructure
– organizing the information into the relevant business services that are essential to the enterprise
– evaluating, prioritizing and costing the applications to be moved to the cloud
