SmartRecruiters Secures $50M in Series D Funding

smartrecruitersSmartRecruiters, a San Francisco, CA-based recruiting platform, raised $50M in Series D funding.

The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from Mayfield Fund and Rembrandt Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its product roadmap, including deepening the abilities of SmartAssistant through AI and machine learning; geographic expansion in Europe and Asia Pacific, hiring 100 people; and broadening the components of its Hiring Success methodology, specifically process optimization, strategy and customer workshops.

Led by Jerome Ternynck, CEO and Founder, SmartRecruiters provides a SaaS platform that enables customers to scale their hiring efforts – optimizing for quality, speed, and cost efficiency – while customizing the candidate experience for their individual brands.
A large recruiting marketplace ecosystem, SmartRecruiters has more than 550 pre-integrated third-party solutions – such as background check, communication, analytics, and candidate assessment apps – and more than 1K job boards to promote and manage openings.
Customers include Visa, LinkedIn, Twitter, Bosch, McDonald’s Canada, Skechers, Equinox, Alcoa, and others.
