People.ai Raises $60M in Series C Funding

People.ai LogoPeople.ai, a San Francisco, CA-based creator of a revenue intelligence system, raised $60M in Series C funding.

The round was led by ICONIQ Capital with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, GGV Capital and Y Combinator. In conjunction with the funding, Will Griffith, Partner at ICONIQ Capital, will join the People.ai board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate advancements in product innovation and continue its expansion to meet the needs of global enterprise customers, along with launching a partnership platform for top consulting firms and system integrators.

Founded in 2016 by Oleg Rogynskyy, CEO, People.ai provides an AI based revenue intelligence system that frees all customer-facing teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, from manual data entry by automatically capturing all contact and customer activity data, dynamically updating CRM and other systems of record, and providing actionable intelligence across management tools to realize the full selling capacity of the enterprise.
Since 2016, the Revenue Intelligence System has trained its AI on 500 million sales activities, nearly 40 million contacts, $1 trillion in pipeline, and over $100 billion in closed/won deals.

The company also announced its newest product “The Wire,” a real-time feed of best next actions to provide customer-facing teams with AI-driven intelligence, task prioritization, and one-click execution.

Brands leveraging People.ai include Lyft, New Relic, Okta, Tanium, and Zoom.
