LeQuest Raises €7M in Funding

lequestLeQuest, a Rotterdam, The Netherlands-based supplier of medical technology education, raised €7m in funding.

Backers included new investors MedFinance and InnovationQuarter and existing investors NextGen Ventures, Noaber Ventures and Philips Health Technology Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to intensify its collaboration with device manufacturers and expand its services to hospitals geographically.

Founded in 2011 and led by CEO Hicham Shatou, LeQuest provides simulation-based educational solutions on high risk medical technology in hospitals and more specifically in OR’s, ICU’s and Radiology departments.
Over the last few years, the company has serviced hospitals as well as manufacturers in order to train and certify healthcare professionals in the use of medical technology.
It is working with Philips, Siemens, Medtronic, GE, and other large medical device manufacturers, and has active users in more than 15 countries in Europe, North- and South-America.
