Cluey Learning, a Sydney, Australia-based adaptive learning company, raised AUS$20m in Series A funding.
The round brought total funding to date to $31m.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its learning platform and analytics capabilities, expand its curriculum to provide more interactive lesson content and work with universities to access greater opportunities for educational research.
Founded in 2018 by CEO Mark Rohald and also led by Chief Learning Officer Dr Selina Samuels, Cluey aims to reinforce school-based education with personalized, one-to-one learning by matching students with expert private tutors who conduct sessions using an online platform, which features video and audio, a virtual whiteboard and digital content.
