Tray.io Raises $37M in Series B Funding

trayioTray.io, a San Francisco, CA-based general automation platform, closed a $37M Series B funding.

The round was led by Spark Capital with participation from Meritech Capital and existing investors GGV Capital, True Ventures, and Mosaic Ventures. In conjuction with the funding, Spark Capital’s Alex Clayton will join Tray.io’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to hire a broad range of roles and continue product development to expand products’ enterprise-class capabilities.

Led by Rich Waldron, CEO and co-founder, Tray.io provides a platform which allows citizen automators throughout organizations to automate complex processes and connect their entire cloud stack thanks to APIs. Developers and IT professionals also use the company’s products as a centralized platform to build and maintain enterprise-wide integrations without devoting extensive engineering resources to these projects.

Today, businesses such as Forbes, Segment, and AdRoll use the company’s solution to connect, process, and automate data between the tools they use every day.
