Simergent Closes $2.835M Seed Funding

simergentSimergent, a developer of a home dialysis system, closed a $2.835M seed funding round.

The round was led by Oklahoma-based i2E.

The company intends to use the funds to continue developing its home dialysis system for the US and abroad, and to complete design, manufacturing, and regulatory testing activities required for FDA clearance.

Led by Steve Lindo, co-founder and CEO, Simergent is advancing Archimedes, an automated peritoneal dialysis system which will allow access to home dialysis at an affordable price point with usability and safety features.

The company has offices in Oklahoma City, OK and Chicago, IL as part of the MATTER healthtech incubator.
