Rippling Raises $45M in Series A Funding

ripplingRippling, a San Francisco, CA-based employee onboarding startup, raised $45m in Series A funding.

The round, which brought post-money valuation to $270m, was led by Kleiner Perkins with participation from Initialized Capital, Threshold Ventures (formerly DFJ Venture), Y Combinator, and others. In conjunction with the funding, Mamoon Hamid from Kleiner Perkins, joined Rippling’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to double down on product and engineering, build out the G&A infrastructure and continue to grow ahead.
