InfoTycoon, an Atlanta, GA-based multifamily industry’s inspections and asset management platform, raised $5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Shadow Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds for major platform improvements, with new product features to be rolled out over the coming months, and expansion into new housing markets, such as affordable housing pre-REAC inspections and the student housing market.
Led by newly appointed Executive Chairman and interim-CEO KP Reddy (who is an AEC and CRE tech expert and Founder of Shadow Ventures), InfoTycoon provides a cloud platform for multifamily owners and operators to use asset data to increase NOI, ROI and portfolio value.
It is now used by nearly 50- percent of the NMHC Top 50 including 3 of the 5 largest managers.
Customers include Greystar, Morgan Properties, Cortland, United Apartment Group, and many more.
