Giblib Raises $2.5M in Seed Funding

CS_giblibGiblib, a Los Angeles, CA-based streaming media platform offering a library of on-demand medical lectures and surgical videos, closed $2.5m in seed funding.

The round included Mayo Clinic with additional participation from the Venture Reality Fund, Wavemaker 360, USC Marshall Venture Fund and Michelson 20MM.

The company intends to use the funds to further enhance its offerings and continue to develop the platform’s online medical library.

Led by Brian Conyer, CEO and co-founder, Giblib provides medical professionals anywhere in the world with a platform to get access to 4K and 360-degree VR videos of medical topics and advanced surgical procedures performed by the world’s leading specialists.
The company creates, produces and curates educational videos that feature expert physicians at leading academic medical centers and distributes its content on-demand to medical professionals and students worldwide.
Giblib produces exclusive content in partnership with leading experts in the medical field, including Mayo Clinic, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Stanford Children’s Hospital and more.
