FenestraPro Raises €1.2M in Seed Funding

fenestraproFenestraPro, a Dublin, Ireland-based tech company which provides software applications for the design of energy efficient building façades, raised €1.2m in seed funding.

Backers included VC Pi Labs, Enterprise Ireland, and US AEC software distribution firm Applied Software.

The company, which has raised almost €2m to date, intends to use the funds to accelerate the growth of its client base in the US, Ireland, UK, and Scandinavian markets, as well as for the continued development of a new platform for facade manufacturers.

Led by Simon Whelan, and David Palmer, FenestraPro provides architecture and design firms with software to optimize the design of building façades and overall building performance.
Early adopters of FenestraPro include Aecom, Gensler, and Skidmore Owings & Merrill.

In order to accelerate market penetration in the US, Ireland & UK and Scandinavia and continue to develop solutions for users, manufacturers and fabricators, FenestraPro will continue to raise further additional funding in the coming months. In addition to their Industry Partnership with leading AEC software solutions company Autodesk, the company will also be announcing further strategic partnerships to bring their tools to a wider audience globally.
FenestraPro is currently working with some of the leading facade component manufacturers and later this quarter will release FenestraPro Linc, which will provide access to live facade component manufacturers data focused around their performance characteristics. Focused on Glazing & Curtain Wall Systems in the near term, Linc will enable users to select the most appropriate components based on their environmental performance credentials.
