ChurnZero Raises $7M in Series A Funding


ChurnZero, an Arlington, VA.-based provider of a real-time customer success platform, secured $7m in Series A funding.

The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $10m, was led by Baird Capital, with participation from returning investors Grotech Ventures, Middleland Capital, Charlottesville Angel Network and Center for Innovative Technology. In connection with the investment, Joanna Arras of Baird Capital has joined ChurnZero’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to:
– grow the Customer Success ecosystem, and
– accelerate and deepen product development in the platform.

Founded in 2015 by You Mon Tsang, CEO, ChurnZero provides a solution for subscription businesses to:
– fight customer churn,
– expand their current accounts,
– increase product adoption and
– optimize the overall customer experience.

Its software solutions allow businesses to understand how their customers use their product, asses their health and their likelihood to renew, and give businesses the means to personalize the customer experience through relevant touchpoints.
