SquadUP, a Culver City, CA-based mobile-first platform for ticketing, event management and audience engagement, acquired My Event Nation, a Washington D.C. based ticketing and event registration platform that empowers event creators across the United States.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquirer will continue to service existing My Event Nation customers, providing technical and operational support to the D.C. based team. Its white-label platform will allow current Event Nation customers to take advantage of the software while leveraging the company’s events expertise.

Led by CEO and Co-Founder Willie Litvack, SquadUP is a mobile-first ticketing, event management and audience engagement platform. The company provides software to more than 850 customers including Tribeca Enterprises, American City Business Journals, Riot Games, The NYC Wine and Food Festival, The Wall St. Journal, The Village Vanguard, The James Beard Foundation and The Charleston Wine + Food Festival.
The acquisition marks the first of its kind of SquadUP, which is projecting nearly $100 million in gross ticket sales this year and plans on coupling organic growth with the strategic roll up of the ticketing industry’s middle market.
