Blameless Secures $20M in Funding

blameless-logoBlameless, a San Mateo, CA-based Site Reliability Engineering company, raised $20m in seed and Series A funding.

Backers included:
– Lightspeed Venture Partners,
– Accel, and
– strategic investors.

The company will use the funds to:
– launch its SRE solution,
– expand its product suite,
– grow its engineering and marketing teams, and
– build out the SRE community, customer and partner base.

Created by COO Lyon Wong, a former partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, founder of S28 Capital and a Microsoft Windows PM, and CEO Ashar Rizqi, a former head of core platform at MuleSoft and SRE manager at Box, Blameless emerged from stealth to announce its platform for SRE professionals, already used by more than 20 enterprise customers, including DigitalOcean, Procore and The Home Depot.
The solution provides transparency into the network of APIs and homegrown applications powering companies’ systems. This transparency enables engineering and DevOps teams to resolve incidents faster, prevent issues from happening again, create SLOs and automatically calculate error budgets.
