Syrenis, a Daresbury, UK-based provider of a SaaS personal information management platform, received an investment from Bill Currie and Sir Terry Leahy.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. With the deal, Bill Currie and Sir Terry Leahy have joined the board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to grow into the international privacy and personal data management market.
Led by founder Nicky Watson and CEO Glenn Jackson, Syrenis provides businesses with Cassie, a platform to manage the communications preferences of their prospects, customers and other stakeholders. Launched in 2015, the company currently handles almost a billion marketing preferences for 118 million customer contacts worldwide.
Syrenis works with both small and large companies across the globe. Organizations using its software include The Fundraising Regulator, the Home Office, the NSPCC and Xerox.
