NMS Capital, a NYC-based private equity firm, closed its third fund at $450m.
Investors NMS Fund III, LP, included public and corporate pension funds, foundations, family offices and other institutional investors in the U.S. and abroad. The firm’s previous investment fund, NMS Fund II, LP, had commitments of $252m.
Led by Martin Chavez, Managing Partner and Co-Founder, and Kevin Jordan, Managing Partner and Co-Founder, NMS Capital is a private investment firm specializing in strategic equity investments and leveraged buyouts of lower middle market companies.
The firm – formed through the spin-out of a group of portfolio companies from the Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division – focuses on companies headquartered in the U.S. poised to benefit from sustainable growth trends with particular concentration on companies in Healthcare Services and Specialized Business Services.
