Inshur, a NYC-based and Brighton, UK-based insurtech startup, raised $9m in equity and debt funding.
The company closed a $7M Series A funding round led by Munich Re Ventures with participation from MTech Capital and raised a further $2M credit facility. In conjunction with the funding, Brian McLoughlin, a Co-Founder and Partner of MTech Capital, is joining Inshur’s board of directors.
The investment will support expansion into new territories and accelerate reach into new insurance verticals.
