Flow Kana, a Redwood Valley, CA-based sustainable supply chain company and distributor of sungrown cannabis products and services, completed a $125m Series B financing.
Gotham Green Partners, which led Flow Kanaās Series A raise in May 2018, participated along with other private investors.
The company, which has raised a total of $175m to date, intends to use the funds to build and scale the California cannabis supply chain centered around small, decentralized, sustainably operated cannabis farms.
Led by Michael Steinmetz, CEO, Flow Kana is creating a sustainable, sungrown cannabis brand partnering with and gives scale to craft farmers in Northern California, who focus on beyond organic farming practices. It offers a range of distribution and white label services to a variety of licensed cannabis companies who share its values to provide consumers with clean, compliant and sustainable products through delivery to licensed retail operators throughout California.
Flow Kana is now on track to complete the buildout of its manufacturing operations at its Mendocino County headquarters, The Flow Cannabis Institute, which opened processing and white-label services in April 2018. The company’s manufacturing will further expand white label and co-branding services to a full suite of oil-based vapes, topicals, tinctures, and a series of value-add services with cannabis inputs all locally sourced from its ecosystem of partner farmers.
