Aire, a London, UK-based credit scoring system company, raised $11m in Series B funding.
Backers included Crane Venture Partners, Experian Ventures, Orange Digital Ventures, White Star Capital and Sunstone Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand into the U.S. and invest in technology.
Led by co-founder and CEO Aneesh Varma, Aire is building a credit assessment tool that integrates seamlessly into a platform, providing virtual interviews and using machine learning to create personalized credit scores based on things that really matter — like financial maturity, career and lifestyle.
Authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, the company partners with a range of lenders including Toyota Financial Services, Zopa and N Brown Group, among others.
