StructionSite Inc., an Oakland, CA-based provider of intelligent construction management software, raised its $1.5M seed round of financing.
The round was led by CEMEX Ventures, with participation from Social Starts, WND Ventures and Obayashi Corporation, as well as owner/operator angel investors in the AEC space.
The company will use the funds to grow both the Engineering and Customer Success teams.
Led by Matt Daly, CEO, and Philip Lorenzo, Chief Product Officer, StructionSite provides a site documentation solution, which applies computer vision and machine learning technology to automatically detect installed work, creating new insights into production rates and contractor performance. Working closely with customers and partners for the last 18 months has led to the development of VideoWalk™ for automating site capture with 360 video, and now the newest production tracking product, SmartTrack™.
