Lively, a NYC-based provider of an online audiology platform, raised $16M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Declaration Capital, the family office of David M. Rubenstein, with participation from Tiger Management.
Led by CEO Adam Karp, Lively provides an online audiology platform, which provides hearing tests, hearing aid sales, and ongoing support for its hearing aid clients.
The new technology offers the ability to tune device remotely and connect with an audiologist via the smartphone app. Users can take the online hearing assessment, meet with an audiologist face-to-face via video conference, and receive hearing aid.
Lively was founded out of Redesign Health, a New York-based venture studio focused on building consumer health businesses that improve access and elevate patient experience.
