Wise Systems Raises $7M in Series A Funding

Wise_SystemsWise Systems, a Cambridge, Mass.-based maker of autonomous dispatch and routing software for high-performance delivery fleets, raised $7m in Series A funding.

The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $8.5m, was led by Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund, with participation from existing investors E14 Fund, Neoteny, Trucks Venture Capital and Fontinalis Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to scale operations, accelerate research and development velocity around next-generation AI-powered delivery management technologies, and extend its market reach.

Founded in 2014 by a group of MIT and Harvard graduates and led by Chazz Sims, CEO, Wise Systems provides autonomous dispatch and routing software that enables customers to compete in a dynamic world. Its autonomous dispatch and routing platform automatically schedules routes, monitors routes in progress, and intelligently adjusts to day-of delays on the ground, using machine learning to continuously improve fleet efficiency, performance, and service over time.
Today, Wise Systems is powering transportation operations in over 50 locations and across thousands of drivers nationwide. Customers range from multi-billion dollar global enterprises, including Anheuser-Busch, to regional operations.
