Shampora Closes €300K Funding Round

shamporaShampora, a Rome, Italy-based startup that creates personalized hair products, closed a €300k funding round. 

The round was led by LVenture Group, holding company listed on MTA of Borsa Italiana, with participation from Boost Heroes, SAF Venture, some angels from Angel Partner Group (APG) and others.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations,, augmenting the production capacity of their lab and researching new and better raw materials.

Co-founded by Manuel Corona, Mirco Peragine, Francesco Rizzotti and Irene Gullotta, Shampora is a platform that allows users to create personalized hair products, thanks a virtual assistant that analyzes their tricologic features and specific needs. The proprietary algorithm  elaborates information and transmit them to the startup lab. Shampora also offers a consulting service for affiliated hairstylists, who can answer to the particular needs of their clients, suggesting products and and take care of their hair.

The company, which recently ended the LUISS EnLabs acceleration program, has a team of 12 people.
