Springboard Retail, a Boston, MA-based cloud POS and Retail Management platform for retail brands to drive sales and margin, raised $400k in funding.
Lighter Capital provided the third tranche of financing for a total of $1.1 million.
The company intends to use the funds to bolster its sales and marketing team.
Launched in 2014, Springboard Retail provides POS software and end-to-end retail management platform that features enterprise-grade customer, inventory, and order management capabilities, along with custom reporting, APIs, and top integrations.
In September, the company launched SpringboardTRAC, an integrated foot traffic counting solution for independent retailers. The new device offers a new way for users to collect real-time traffic and conversion data, view it on the sales dashboard, and – in combination with sales metrics – gain insight to optimize their retail business.
Springboard Retail currently serves over 700 customers, including Rainbow Sandals, Zumiez, Nic+Zoe, Faherty Brand, Savannah Bee Company, John Craig, Southern Tide, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
