ShoppingGives Raises $1.2M in Funding

ShoppingGives ShoppingGives, a Chicago, IL-based provider of a retail solution that enables shoppers to give a percentage of their purchases to charity and enables retailers to give back from their shopping cart, raised more than $1.2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Nasrin Thierer of Asset Blue, international investors, and various Chicago angel investors.

The company will use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Ronny Sage, founder and CEO, ShoppingGives provides a solution called Change Commerce, which can be directly integrated by retailers into their checkout process, allowing their shoppers to choose a cause to receive a donation from the brand with every purchase.
To date, the company has partnered with over 750 retailers, including Target, Macy’s, Walmart, Kohl’s, and Home Depot.
