PowerSphyr, Inc., a Danville, CA-based provider of wireless charging solutions, raised $4m in Series A funding.
Faurecia, an automotive technology company, made the investment, and, starting in 2020, will be delivering a full suite of wireless power solutions enabled by PowerSphyr.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate delivery into the automotive OEM market.
Led by Neil Ganz, President and CEO, PowerSphyr delivers wireless power charging solutions for the automotive, consumer and industrial markets, which support key industry standards such as:
- Magnetic Induction;
- Magnetic Resonance; and
- RF Energy Harvesting.
