PlayerLync Raises $12.5M in Series B Funding

playerlyncPlayerLync, a Denver, CO-based mobile content platform for modern learning and performance management, secured $12.5m in growth financing.

The round was led by Volition Capital with participation from Anschutz Venture Group (AVG). In conjunction with the funding, Roger Hurwitz, Managing Partner at Volition, joined PlayerLync’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing and staffing efforts and enter new markets.

Co-founded by Bob Paulsen, Greg Menard, and Robert Smith, PlayerLync is a modern learning and performance management platform that connects deskless and mobile workers to content and one another, even when network bandwidth is low or non-existent. Content is managed, and video and documents sync automatically, so people always have the media they need on personal or shared mobile devices. The platform is encrypted, secure and integrates to core systems like LMS and HRIS.
