New Enterprise Associates, Inc., a Menlo Park, CA-based venture capital firm, promoted Julia Schottenstein, a technology investor focused on enterprise companies, to Principal.
Since joining NEA in 2016, Schottenstein has identified and partnered with numerous high potential, disruptive companies in open source infrastructure, DevOps, Big Data, SaaS applications, and autonomous robotics.
Prior to joining NEA, Schottenstein was an Investment Banker at Qatalyst Partners, where she focused on software, internet, and networking companies, and worked on M&A transactions totaling more than $37 billion in aggregate value.
In addition to sourcing new investments, Schottenstein works closely with many existing NEA portfolio companies. She serves on the Board of Sentry and is a Board Observer of Built Robotics, Konux, Mode, One Concern, SmartCar, and UnifyID, and is also involved with NEA’s investments in Automation Anywhere and Drive.ai.
